Local company Solarina, a subsidiary of CWP Europe, is planning to build a 150 MW solar power plant near the city of Zajecar in eastern Serbia.
The detailed regulation plan for the power plant, which will consist of three separate units stretching over 413 hectares of land, has been put for public review by the municipal authorities.
CWP is one of the leading developers in southeastern Europe, which has completed the construction of some of the largest onshore wind farms in Europe such as 600 MW Fantanele- Cogealac project in Romania and 156 MW Cibuk wind farm in Serbia.
Earlier in January, local company Energy Networks said that it is planning the construction of 50 MW solar power plant Mali Izvor near Zajecar.
