Minister of Energy, Development and Protection of Environment, Zorana Mihajlovic talked to the representatives of Czech Company Alta, which is interested in construction of TPP Stavalj and investing in the mine in Sjenica.
Technical model of Performance Study for Construction of TPP Stavalj, which is also one of ministry’s priorities was negotiated at the meeting.
It is arranged that Alta which is in charge of mining and electricity equipment will prepare more detailed proposal of investment model for mine and TPP Stavalj by 21 October 2013 when meeting of mixed commission of Serbia and Czech Republic will be held.
One of the subjects of the meeting was also an interest of Czech Republic for making an international agreement with Serbia for cooperation in the area of energy and mining.
Ministry of Energy has already formed working team that will be in charge of this project realization in accordance with set goal to sign a contract with Czech investor by the end of a year.
