Czech consortium “Vision Group Balcan – Vision Sword eyes 60MW wind park in east Serbia.
A wind park will be constructed at Vrška čuka near the city of Zaječar, and the preliminary construction agreement has been signed by the mayor of Zaječar, Velimir Ognjenović, and dirеctor of the Czech consortium “Vision Group Balkan – Vision Sword”, Marek Klimeš.
The investment is worth 100 million euros, and the city of Zaječar will get five percent of the overall income per year. In the first phase, the profit for the city budget would be around half a million euros annually, and two times higher after the entire system has been finished. This is a wind park with the capacity of 60 megawatts and the whole investment will be finished within two years – as explained by mayor Ognjenović, and reported by Zaječar info, the official city portal.
Considering that the City of Zaječar will provide all necessary conditions for construction as soon as possible, the Czech consortium will soon start laying the footings for wind generators and building the substation, and the talks about obtaining the electricity production quota have been conducted in recent days with the Ministry of Energy, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
