Power utility company EPS ( Elektroprivreda Srbije) majority of electricity produces in coal fired power plants. Most important coal mine Kolubara suffered severe floods damages and after several overhaul 100MEUR projects managed to stabilized the production.
The Electric Power Company of Serbia (EPS), as an investor, and the consortium of contractors Energoprojekt Oprema and Planum signed a new significant contract early February on the construction of new coal ash landfill at the open-pit mine Tamnava-Zapadno Polje in Kolubara Mining Basin.
A total value of contracted works is EUR 15,506,176.18 (exclusive of VAT).
