“In accordance with the conclusions and recommendations of the Government of Serbia, Srbijagas has begun to charge Banatski Dvor together with Russian partners and this storage will be charged at maximum capacityaround August 15th”, said Vucur, responding to a reporter’s question whether Serbia will be in a situation of uncertain gas supply due to the complex relationships between Russia, Ukraine and the European Union.
He pointed out that this was good news, but this also put an additional financial burden on Srbijagas, so it should bear in mind that we have had to pay the gas before.
“Banatski Dvor may give, when fully charged, a maximum of 4.2 million cubic meters of gas per day, and later, when it is not fully charged, the level decreases to 3.2 million cubic meters”, said Vucur.
He said that in extremely cold period in winter we were also heating on alternative fuels.
