Serbia: Gazprom to increase gas deliveries to Serbia by 15 % in 2018
, News Serbia EnergyGas company Gazprom will increase deliveries of natural gas to Serbia by 15 % in 2018.
It was also noted that Gazprom supplied over 2 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Serbia between 1 January and 15 December 2017, which is 26 % more than last year’s 1.75 billion cubic meters.
During the visit of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to Moscow, Russia and Serbia also agreed to exclude that clause that limits the use of natural gas purchased from Gazprom for domestic consumption only for the previous intergovernmental agreement on gas supply. Combined with increased volume of natural gas next year, this would enable Serbia to become gas exporter in the region.
