Our primary task is to transform “Naftna Industrija Srbije” (NIS) into an energy trading company explained Aleksey Belov, Executive Director of the Block Energetika in GazpromNeft NIS .
If we talk about perspectives of capacity development for electricity generation, I can say that we are planning to have up to 500 MW of generator capacities in our assets during the next three years- Belov says.
He adds that this company has three crucial business directions.
-First- these are measures for decreasing energy consumption in the first row over removing the center for irrational use of energy resources, the second- use of existing NIS’s resources like diluted gas for closing its own generator capacities. This fuel which is usually burned by flare is being used for production of electric and heating energy.
The plan is to set 8 co-generator modules with total capacity of 7,65 MW by the end of 2014 and the scope of investments will exceed number of 30 million EUR.
And finally the third direction is participation in the projects TPP and Heating Plant Pancevo with capacity of 200 MW and reconstruction of TPP and Heating Plant Novi Sad with increase of the station capacity up to 240 MW- Belov says.
