Serbia: General Electric interested in energy projects

Zorana Mihajlović, Serbian minister energy, development and environmental protection,  met on Monday with a delegation of U.S. company General Electric “concerning the realization of South Stream pipeline project through Serbia.” .
The meeting covered the possibility of cooperation between General Electric and local companies in joint implementation of South Stream pipeline project, especially in the construction of gas stations, the Ministry of Energy said on its website.
The delegation of General Electric headed by Vice Chairman John Rice expressed interest in participation in tasks aimed at revitalization of power stations in Serbia the average age of which exceeds 25 years
