Delegation of company Hitachi visited the Ministry of Energy, Development and the Environment and talked with the Ministry team to build new power plants in Serbia, for which the company is interested. Delegation of the company Hitachi (Hitachi Power Europe GmbH) informed the Ministry with fusion of part of the company with company Mitsubishi, envisaged in 2014, and it was agreed that discussions should continue in the future.
Assistant Minister Dejan Trifunovic and special advisor to the Minister Ljubomir Aksentijević informed the guests about plans and activities of the Ministry in the field of legislative changes, the liberalization of the electricity market in Serbia and the Energy Development Strategy 2025, with projections until 2030, whose adoption is in progress, and which envisages the construction of new energy facilities and power plants, and for which this corporation is interested.
Ministry Team acquainted his guests with the macroeconomic situation in Serbia and possibilities of financing of priority projects through public-private partnerships.
