Ministry of Energy announced a public call for construction of small HPPs on 317 locations in Serbia. Minister Mihajlovic invited interested investors to Serbia and grants friendly business environment.
Public call that will last until 5 April invites all interested domestic and foreign legal and physical persons to submit reports for small HPPs’ construction.
Zorana Mihajlovic held a press conference meeting in Serbian Government with regard to the public call announcement. Everyone interested to invest in small HPPs will have six months deadline to declare about this investment, it was announced from the Ministry earlier.
According to the new law for renewable sources electricity production stimulating tariffs, 7,38 to 13,72 eurocent per kilowatt-hour were proposed to be stimulating measures. Duration time for stimulating measures is 12 years and tariff amounts will be balanced with euro zone inflation amount once a year.
About 850 locations for constructions of HPPs with strength of 100 KW to 10 MW exist in Serbia according to the earlier information.
