President of ITM Group Toplica Spasojevic said in an interview that the group is completing the construction of 120 MW wind farm near Pancevo and is preparing to launch the construction of another one, with an installed capacity of 270 MW, in the same location.
Prior to the pandemic, ITM Group had plans to partner with hydropower equipment manufacturer Andritz Hydro and build small hydropower plants (SHPP) with the capacity of 5, 10 and 12 MW using its turbines. Spasojevic said that the project was postponed due to the changes to the regulations and the protests against SHPP construction, but ITM Group is preparing to build two SHPPs on the Montenegrin border, with the installed capacity of 21 and 13 MW, next year.
