Serbia’s Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has granted a building permit for the Jasikovo wind project, enabling local investor Jasikovo to commence development.
The approval covers the installation of 13 wind turbines, each with a height of 199.5 meters, on land within the Majdanpek and Zagubica municipalities. The project also includes a 33/110 kV transformer station, a 10 kV switching facility (PRP 10 kV), and around 16 kilometers of internal cable infrastructure connecting the turbines to the network.
The total estimated cost of the works stands at approximately €67.3 million, excluding VAT. The permit will expire if construction is not formally started within three years from its legal effectiveness. Network and telecommunications connections are not part of this approval; prior to obtaining an operating license, the investor must provide proof of connection to the existing infrastructure, ensure professional construction supervision, and resolve outstanding property-rights issues for some land parcels.
The Jasikovo wind farm ranked fifth in the latest renewable energy auction for market premiums organized by the Ministry of Mining and Energy, positioning it among Serbia’s leading new wind projects.
