Serbia: Kolubara coalmines produced 10.2 million tons of coal in 2016, News Serbia Energy
RB Kolubara, the subsidiary of the Serbian stateowned power utility EPS, which operates the Kolubara coalmines announced that the company has produced 10.2 million tons of coal since the beginning of 2016.
The statement said that the largest quantity of coal or around 4.7 million tons was produced at Tamnava West Field open pit mine, followed by 4.2 million tons excavated at Field D open pit mine. Open pit mine Field B produced about half of million tons of coal in the same period, while production at Veliki Crljeni open pit mine stood at 777,000 tons of coal.
According to the statement, coal production was at the level planned for this period of 2016, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
