Thermal power plant “Morava” in Svilajnac, which operates under the PE TPP “Nikola Tesla” near Belgrade, prepares for the overhaul during next year worth 20 MEUR.
The money for new electrical filters worth 5 MEUR was obtained from the EU, told “Morava” director Marija Stevanovic to reporters. This overhaul will extend the operation of TPP Svilajnac for another ten years.
The last comprehensive overhaul of turbine was conducted at the end of 2004th, and it had been passed on computer management and control blocks. Since 2005th TPP was online for recorded 7,267 hours and produced more than 600 million kWh of electricity.
