21.605 tons of copper and half tone of gold were produced in Mining and Smelting Basin Bor during seven months this year. Bor’s foundry processed 137.700 tons of concentrate from domestic materials in seven months.
9 and a half million ton of mineral was excavated in Copper Mine in Majdanpek which is 20% more than in 2012.
As it is said in the statement, this is for one fourth more with the reference to the last year’s period.
“These results contributed for MSB Bor to be placed on the list of 15 biggest exporter in Serbia because this company exported 73,9 million EUR worth goods from January to July this year, according to the data from Customs Administration”, Gorica Toncev Vasilic, spokeswoman of MSB confirmed for Serbia Energy.
It is stated in the MSB that over half tone of gold and around 3 tons of silver was produced in period from January until July what improved production of precious metals for 10% than it had been planned.
