Serbia power utility EPS extended the submission of bids for smart meters project tender. The project is being financed with the proceeds of an EBRD loan.
March 18 is the new deadline for filing bids in its tender for the procurement of IT and metering infrastructure, devices and integration services. The reason may be the change of tender preferences under which local producers of smart meters equipment will be able to participate on the tender.
The original deadline for filing bids in the tender, published in December, was March 4, the notice published in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed.
