Serbia’s electricity transmission system operator, EMS, has launched a tender for the development of a feasibility study focused on automating its approval issuance process using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
EMS, which holds public authority in the country, is legally required to issue requirements and approvals for the construction of new structures and the legalization of buildings located within the protective zones of its power facilities. In a bid to streamline this process, improve customer satisfaction, and optimize employee resources, EMS has decided to explore the use of AI to automate the issuance of these approvals.
This initiative reflects EMS’s commitment to leveraging advanced technologies to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery in the energy sector.
