The city of Vranje has entered into a 30-year lease agreement with local firm Solarbelt for 20.6 hectares of public land. Solarbelt plans to utilize this space to construct two solar power plants with a combined installed capacity of 18 MW. Construction of the plants is scheduled to commence in early 2025.
