Serbia: Tender for reserve electricity supplier by the end of 2013

Large industrial customers who were unable on time, or up to 1 January, to enter into contracts with some of the suppliers of electricity in the domestic market, they had the right to be supplied with electricity by reserve suppliers for 60 days. The Serbian government has chosen EPS to be a temporary reserve supplier.

As we found out in this public company, none customer that is supplied on high voltage or transmission system, was not in the spare, but on total supply.

Ministry of Energy stated that the tender for spare supplier can be expected after the adoption of amendments to the Law on Energy, by the end of the year.
