Serbia: TPP Kostolac EPS overhaul works on all units
, News Serbia EnergySerbian power utility EPS subsidiary power plant Kostolac is realizing overhaul works in both of its power generation facilities. After the completion of overhaul on Kostolac B2 unit the works will be continued on the remaining three units in Kostolac TPPs.
Major overhaul of the Kostolac A2 unit started 1.august is going as planed. So far works included several repairs on boiler system, turbine and electrical works. Coal supply systems were also overhauled. According to Zoran Stanojevic director of electricity production department the overhaul is being done as planed.
The overhaul of Kostolac B1 unit and Kostolac A1 unit also started mid of august. All major works are initiated and will be completed on time. B1 unit overhaul was focused on unit transfer, hot steam pipeline and generator overhaul. In the same time A1 unit overhaul is focused on boiler burner systems work with ongoing maintenance works on electrical and measurement equipment. , transmits Serbia-energy.eu
