Minister of Energy, Zorana Mihajlovic stated today that EPS should intend to borrow as little as possible and to use internal reserves instead.
EPS is in a really difficult financial situation and this burden has to be shared with everyone employed in the company- she said to journalists on the meeting about the introduction of the billing and payment for heating energy.
“The state will enable EPS to do better business, what doesn’t mean that EPS will be taken care of and it won’t have any responsibilities”, Mihajlovic said.
Minister added that EPS have huge purchase and that the talk about transferring one part in the public debt was held on Wednesday.
Mihajlovic said the reprogramming of the credit, EPS should pay off soon, was also reconsidered.
Previously EPS CEO Aleksandar Obradovic stated that EPS needs 300-500MEUR to avoid liquidity problems.
