Serbian SME’s should take part in projects for the construction and revitalization of energy facilities in the country and the government will support them, Serbian Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Milutin Mrkonjic told reporters March 9, newswires reported. The electro-energy sector is Serbia’s biggest development chance in the coming years and the government has the responsibility to remove obstacles that hinder opportunities for domestic enterprises to take part in such projects, he said.
At Friday’s meeting, the government also briefly discussed financing projects in the field of electric power from the European and international banks’ funds since there is great interest among other countries to participate in these projects as well.
