A total of 567,359 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market on the Slovenian energy exchange BSP Southpool in April 2020, which is a 9 % decrease compared to the previous month, with an average of 28,912 MWh/day. Traded volume was 7.4 % lower compared to April 2019. Average daily base price on day-ahead market in April amounted to 23.75 euros/MWh, which is a 19.3 % decrease compared to March, while average euro-peak price reached 24.08 euros/MWh (- 24.9 %). Regarding intraday auctions, a total of 107,858 MWh was traded on implicit intraday auction in April 2019, od which 71,949 on the continuous market (- 7.7 %), with an average price of 19.05 euros/MWh (MI2) and 37.97 euros/MWh (MI6).
