According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia, household electricity prices stood at €0.208/kWh in the first quarter of 2026, while natural gas prices were €0.085/kWh. Compared to the final quarter of 2025, both electricity and gas prices recorded a modest 1% decline, indicating a slight easing in household energy costs.
For industrial consumers, the average electricity price in Q1 2026 amounted to €0.149/kWh (excluding VAT), reflecting a 2% quarter-on-quarter decrease. In contrast, industrial natural gas prices remained stable at €0.055/kWh (excluding VAT), showing no change compared to Q4 2025.
Overall, the data points to a relatively stable but slightly declining pricing environment in Slovenia’s energy market, with small downward adjustments in electricity costs and unchanged industrial gas pricing.
