Slovenia, Net electricity production 1.1 TWh in April
, SEE Energy NewsNet electricity production in Slovenia decreased by 10% on a monthly basis in April, to 1,096 GWh. That is 45% more than in April last year.
Compared to April 2021, the production of hydropower plants was lower by 19% (298 GWh), and the production of thermal power plants was lower by 25% (270 GWh).
The production of the nuclear power plant was 496 GWh.
Total electricity consumption decreased by 13% compared to March 2022, or decreased by 3% annually, the statistical office announced on Wednesday.
A total of 1,131 GWh was available on the domestic market in April.
In April, Slovenia imported 767 GWh of electricity and exported 731 GWh. Imports increased by 3% compared to the previous month, while exports increased by 8%.
