Slovenia: Traded electricity on BSP in July

Traded volume on the Slovenian energy exchange BSP was 20 % lower compared to July 2019. A total of 580,500 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market in July 2020, which is a 1.3 % increase compared to the previous month, with an average of 18,726 MWh/day. Average daily base price on day-ahead market in July amounted to 35.23 euros/MWh, which is a 26.2 % increase compared to June, while average euro-peak price reached 37.5 euros/MWh (+ 27.8 %). Regarding intraday auctions, a total of 127,094 MWh was traded on implicit intraday auction in July 2019, of which 90,141 on the continuous market (+ 16 %), with an average price of 35.86 euros/MWh (MI2) and 40.34 euros/MWh (MI6).
