In June 2020, on the Slovenian energy exchange BSP Southpool a total of 572,989 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market. This is a 4.3 % decrease compared to the previous month, with an average of 19,100 MWh/day. Traded volume was 14.5 % lower compared to June 2019. Average daily base price on day-ahead market in June amounted to 27.91 euros/MWh, which is a 31.4 % increase compared to May, while average euro-peak price reached 29.35 euros/MWh (+ 41.42 %). Regarding intraday auctions, a total of 103,491 MWh was traded on implicit intraday auction in June 2019, od which 77,731 on the continuous market (- 1.2 %), with an average price of 31.07 euros/MWh (MI2) and 32.38 euros/MWh (MI6).
