Electric power situation in Serbia is stable, and the electricity consumption is about 120 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) per day, announced the Ministry of Energy.
Capacities for electricity generation are engaged in accordance with the plan to meet the needs of the electric power system.
The situation in the gas supply is stable and during the previous day in the system of Srbijagas 12,955,412 cubic meters of gas was spent, and 192,534 cubic meters of gas per hour was delivered to heating plants.
Belgrade power plants due to higher daily temperature switched to operating mode from six to 22 hours.
Heating plant in Novi Pazar has reserves of crude oil and coal for two more days and is expected to now pay interest on past debts and, after that sign a contract with the Republic Directorate for Commodity Reserves.
Thus the problem of providing fuel for this heating plant would be resolved, it was pointed out to at the Ministry website.
