BP report for 2014th “World Energy Statistics” provides an overview of statistical indicators for hydropower plants at global level. The data show that the largest drop in production is recorded in Ukraine. At the same time, there has been a downward trend in the electricity consumption produced in hydropower plants. In Turkey was spent 13.4 million tons of electricity from hydropower in 2013th, while the consumption totaled 9.1 million tons last year.
The report shows that production in hydropower plants in the world in 2014th increased by an average of 2 percent.
