SOE “NAEC” Energoatom “” – the operator of the nuclear power plants of Ukraine in January 2016 increased the income from sale of electricity as compared to January 2015 by 23.8% – to UAH 3.960 billion.
Calculations of the wholesale electricity market supplied by “Energoatom” for the past month amounted to 1,410 billion USD (35.6%), underpayment – 2,550 billion USD, according to a report NAEC.
It is also noted that the debt of the State Enterprise “Energy Market”, the operator of the wholesale electricity market of Ukraine, in front of “Energoatom” is 11.762 billion USD.
Electricity generation in nuclear power plants for January 2016 decreased in comparison with January 2015 with 8.736 billion kWh to 8.285 billion kWh. The share of “Energoatom” in the Ukrainian electricity market has exceeded 56.5% in January.
