“Ukrenergo” plans in September and October 2015 to put into operation an electronic platform for conducting auctions for trading of cross border electricity exports and imports.
“Now,” Ukrenergo “is already implementing software and hardware for electronic auctions using electronic platform in line with best European experience,” writes the statement on company website.
Ukrenergo added that in the framework of the transition to electronic auctions the presentation and a lot of training activities will be held.
The first auction for the allocation of access to interstate sections for the export of electricity was held in December 2009. During the period from December 2009 to the present time almost 70 auctions (yearly and monthly) were organized.
