MOL’s managed oil industry of Croatia INA company will hire Neste Jacobs for assessment of energy efficiency improvement in its Rijeka based oil refinery.
INA will prepare an Energy Efficiency Study for the Oil Refinery Rijeka (ORR) for which it has hired the company Neste Jacobs, aiming at additional improvements in ORR’s energy efficiency.
In the preparation of the Energy Efficiency Study, Neste Jacobs will apply their own concept NJe2 by which they will analyze current energy consumption, energy sources and means of energy production and consumption within the refinery and within the area of the logistics terminal. The aim is to point out the feasible possibilities of energy efficiency improvement in accordance with Ina’s energy management system under the certificate ISO 50001:2011, it is said in the announcement.
Ina’s Executive Director for Refineries and Marketing, Bengt Oldsberg, stresses than Ina has the experience of cooperating with Neste Jacobs in other areas and he is convinced that ORR’s energy efficiency will be improved.
Chief Executive Director of Neste Jacobs, Jarmo Suominen, says that the engagement in ORR is an important step for Neste Jacobs in the international breakthrough of solutions for energy efficiency in the hydrocarbon industry, i.e. for an oil refinery in this case, it is written in the announcement, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
