In November 2020 in Montenegro average electricity bill for households amounted to 31.43 euros, which is 2.9 % higher compared to last November (30.55 euros) and 10 % higher compared to the previous month (28.58 euros). Lowest average monthly consumption was recorded in Zabljak municipality (16.4 euros), while the highest consumption was in Podgorica, where the average bill was 40.2 euros. 62 % of households will pay less than 30 euros for electricity consumed during November, 18 % will pay between 30 and 50 euros, 16.6 % between 50 and 100, while 3.5 % customers will receive bills higher than 100 euros. 197,039 of regularly paying customers were granted a 10 % discount, which represents some 54.1 % of total consumers in Montenegro. Power utility EPCG also announced that the households consumed 103.32 million kWh in November 2020, which is 7.5 % more compared to November 2019 and 11.3 % more compared to the previous month.
