The usage permit for the Donja Dubrava solar power plant was recently obtained. The solar facility is located near the hydropower plant in Dubrava on the Drava River. It will be the largest solar power plant in Croatia.
The power plant will consist of over 23,000 modules made by local company Solvis, each with a power output of 535 W, totalling 12.35 MW of peak installed capacity. The plant should generate 14 GWh of electricity per year.
The contract between the contractor, local company Končar and state-owned power utility HEP, which will operate the plant, was signed in January 2022. The project cost is 7.7 million euros.
