Turkish renewable energy producer Fortis Energy is developing in Albania wind and solar power projects with a capacity of 639 MW.
Of the total, 627 MW consist of solar power projects located across Albania, including a 100 MW photovoltaic park in the town of Vau i Dejes, a 100 MW PV plant in the town of Klos and a 130 MW PV plant in the city of Vlora, according to company‘s portfolio.
The remaining 12 MW comprise four wind projects in the municipality of Dibra.
In January, Fortis Energy said it is developing solar, wind, biogas, and green hydrogen energy projects with a total capacity of up to 2 GW in four Balkan countries.
Earlier this month, Fortis Energy inaugurated a 3 MW biogas power plant is Serbia.
Fortis Energy is owned by UCK Holding, which focuses on renewable and clean energy investments.
