Albania: KESH Energy Corporation increases electricity exports due to favorable hydro conditions, SEE Energy News
The recent rains have significantly increased levels in the accomulations of KESH HPPs forcing KESH to produce electricity with maximum capacity on all turbines.
Positive effect is the electricity exports increase to neighboring countries in Balkan region. The latest sale included export for 12-31 march with six signed contracts and 11 interested bidders in the first phase of tender.
KESH signed six contracts for delivery of 179.000MW amounting 3.9MEUR. The average price for sold energy was 21.7 eur/mwh.
