Albanian state-owned Power Corporation (KESH) said that it has recorded net profit in the amount of some 80 million euros in 2018, compared to a loss of 420,000 euros in 2017, mostly due to sig-nificantly increased electricity production.
The company‘s operating expenditures decreased from 16 million euros in 2017 to 14.5 million eu-ros last year. Revenues from electricity exports rose to almost 147 million euros this year, com-pared to 58.5 million euros in 2017. KESH pro-duced a total of 5.6 million MWh of electricity last year, almost twice as much compared to 2.9 mil-lion MWh in 2017.
