In January 2021 hydro power plant Visegrad has produced 175.44 GWh of electricity, which is almost three times more compared to the previous month (67.87 GWh), a subsidiary of power utility ERS “Hidroelektrane na Drini”, the company which operates the HPP, announced. Last January, the plant produced 58.69 GWh of electricity. HPP Visegrad produced a total of 708.8 GWh of electricity in 2020, compared to 858 GWh produced in 2019. Highest monthly electricity production was recorded in March with 110.5 GWh. HPP Visegrad was commissioned in 1989 and it has power output of 315 MW (3 x 105 MW) and average annual generation of 1,010 GWh of electricity. Record annual production was achieved in 2010 with 1,283.05 GWh.
