Bosnia and Herzegovina, EPBiH has launched a tender for the construction of 15 MW solar power plant
, SEE Energy NewsState-owned power utility EPBiH has launched a tender for the selection of a contractor for the construction of 15 MW solar power plant Gornja Breza.
According to tender documentation, the value of the contract is estimated to some 11.2 million euros. The solar power plant should be built on the abandoned landfill of Breza coalmine.
The deadline for the submission of bids is 30 September .
In an effort to increase its RES portfolio, EPBiH plans to build solar power plants on the ash deposits of its coalmines Kreka, Breza and Kakanj, and its coal-fired TPP Tuzla by 2030.
