Bosnia and Herzegovina, ERS to increase diesel reserves at its two coal-fired TPPs
, SEE Energy NewsThe Government of the Republic of Srpska (RS) approved the purchase of additional volumes diesel fuel worth over 20 million euros by state- owned power utility ERS in order to increase reserves at for its two coal-fired thermal power plants Gacko and Ugljevik amid rising global fuel prices.
The statement from the Government said that the newly purchased quantities of diesel fuel are sufficient for the operation of TPPs Gacko and Ugljevik for additional six months. The purchased diesel fuel will be stored at oil refinery in Bosanski Brod.
