A subsidiary of power utility ERS “Hidroelektrane na Drini”, the company which operates hydropower plant Visegrad, announced that the plant has produced 58.69 GWh of electricity in January 2020, which is 61.9 % lower compared to the previous month (94.85 GWh). Last January, the plant produced 63.68 GWh of electricity. HPP Visegrad produced 858 GWh of electricity in 2018, compared to 1,153 GWh produced in 2018. Highest monthly electricity production was recorded in May with 102.5 GWh. HPP Visegrad was commissioned in 1989 and it has power output of 315 MW (3 x 105 MW) and average annual generation of 1,010 GWh of electricity. Total electricity production of the plant stood at 23,883.26 GWh at the end of 2015. Record annual production was achieved in 2010 with 1,283.05 GWh.
