The process of recapitalization of the company Hidroelektrane na Trebišnjici has been completed, and the majority owner remains Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske.
ERS used the right of first refusal to buy shares by subscribing 64.99 percent of shares worth 83.7 million marks (42.9 million euros), said the director of HET, Gordan Miseljic. In that way, HET provided that amount without interest, he added.
The director for financial affairs of HET, Slobodan Čomić, states that the funds received from Elektroprivreda are already in a special account and that they will be transferred to the account of HPP Dabar next week.
The director of Elektroprivreda Srpske, Luka Petrovic, said that RS would increase its share in the ownership of HET from the previous 80% to 86.46%, adding that in this way all stories about the privatization of HET fall into the water.
In accordance with the right of first refusal at the price of 0.46 KM (0.23 euros), each shareholder had the right to purchase as many shares as he had so far.
