Bosnia and Herzegovina: Retail fuel market in RS
, SEE Energy NewsThe Government of the Republic of Srpska’s Prime Minister Radovan Viskovic said that, in the next period, prices will be determined on a market basis, adding that he does not expect disturbances or significant variations on the price of petroleum products, which are currently stable on the world market. RS repealed the Decree on determining the margins that are applied when forming the retail fuel prices.
The reason for prescribing the earlier measure was the prevention of unrealistic pricing and possible unfair behavior of certain traders in petroleum products. The decree was in force with the aim of protecting the economic interests of citizens and enabling the orderly supply of the market during the declared state of emergency in RS, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
