A decision on fee for promoting the production of electricity from renewable energy sources and high-efficiency cogeneration for second and third quarters of 2020 was finaly adopted by Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (FBiH) Government.
According to Government’s decision, the RES fee in FBiH will amount to 0.128 eurocents/kWh of produced electricity, without VAT. The fee is paid by all end-consumers of electricity in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is shown as a separate item on their electricity bills.
The funds collected this way are used for the payment of incentives to RES producers, covering the costs of the Operator for renewable energy sources and efficient cogeneration (OIEiEK) and covering the balancing energy costs due to imbalance in the values of planned and realized RES production in the FBiH.
