Mayor of Mostar Ljubo Beslic said that the initial agreement on the construction of this wind farm was signed back in 2011 and it is expected that the project will be completed and the wind farm put into operation by the end of 2018.
The agreement on cooperation for the realization of the project for the construction of Podvelezje wind farm has been signed between the Bosnian power utility EPBiH and the municipality of Mostar, as well as an annex to the concession agreemnet for the use of sixteen locations for the construction and operation of wind turbines for electricity production.
Mayor of Mostar Ljubo Beslic said that the initial agreement on the construction of this wind farm was signed back in 2011 and it is expected that the project will be completed and the wind farm put into operation by the end of 2018. He added that there will be no more deadline postponement, as it was done the last time.
EPBiH’s Executive Director for Capital Investments Senad Salkic reminded that the power output of Podvelezje wind farm will be 48 MW and that in the next few days public tender for the construction of access roads will be published. The value of the investment is estimated at 82 million euros and the funding will be provided through a loan by the German KfW Bank, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
