Electric Power Industry of BiH (EPBiH) dd Sarajevo has achieved a record production of electricity since 1990. They produced a total of 7,310 GWh, and expectations are that the amount of about 7,450 GWh will be achieved at the end of the year.
Production refers to the same production capacity as in 1990, said the EPBIH.

“Employees of Electric Power Industry BiH are behind these results and they deserve congratulations. Due to the expertise and accountability of our employees expressed through leadership, adequate planning and maintaining production capacity of high-level operational readiness and availability, it was possible to achieve record production of electricity in the past 23 years.
The 2013 was the year of Electric Power Industry’s investments in mines of Koncern and the year in which we made significant progress in the preparations for the construction of new facilities. I believe that we will, with record production, end this year with other records”, said General Manager Elvedin Grabovica.
In a very short period of time, this is the second record in the production of Electric Power Industry of BiH.
Previously the largest annual production since 1990 was achieved in 2011 in the amount of 7,258 GWh.
