Bosnia: Electricity production in BiH higher by 20.3%
, SEE Energy NewsGross electricity production in Bosnia and Herzegovina in June 2013 amounted 1,269 GWh, which is 20.3% more than in June 2012, data of the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The total gross production of hydroelectric power participated with 36.6% and thermal power plants with 63.4%. However, the production of electricity in June is the lowest in the last three months. In April it amounted 1,544 GWh, and in May 1301.
At the same time, electricity exports in June amounted 467 GWh, which is 45.5% more than in June 2012 when it was 321 GWh.
June’s exports were still lower than in the previous two months, in April of this year amounted 743 GWh and in May 562 GWh.
