At the meeting of the Regulatory Commission for Electricity in BiH, the long-term development plan for the transmission network from 2017 to 2024 was confirmed. The transmission network is an investment of 825.44 million BAM.
This document, prepared by the “Transmission Company”, defines the required reinforcements of existing and construction of new transmission lines in order to timely launch activities on the design and construction of the infrastructure necessary for continuous supply and stable operation of the system.
The long-term plan envisages the construction of new substations and transmission lines in BiH in the amount of 206.12 million BAM. Moreover, the construction of the new interstate transmission lines in the amount of 89.99 million BAM was planned as well.
In addition, the plan also includes the reconstruction and expansion of substations in the amount of 331.04 million BAM, reconstruction of the transmission line, in the amount of 140.59 million, recovery system for control, monitoring and collection of data in the amount of 44 million BAM and the improve of voltage in the power system in the amount of 13.70 million BAM.
The Investment Plan “Elektroprenos BiH” for 2017, which contains a detailed structure and dynamics of realization of the planned investments, is agreed as well.
