Director of Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Gordan Milinic discussed with the Italian Ambassador to BiH Ruggero Corrias the preparation for the major Italian investment in BiH, which should start on 19 July with the meeting between the representatives of the company Pyrox and the representatives of 60 municipalities in BiH.
The Italian company Pyrox plans to invest about 150 million euros in wood biomass cogeneration projects in BiH. In each municipality in which the project is implemented 25 new jobs will be opened and annual profit for the municipalities would be up to one million euros.
FIPA and the Italian Embassy will provide all necessary assistance to the investor and municipalities in order to realize the investment as soon as possible.
