Bulgaria, 1,876 GWh of electricity was traded on IBEX in October, SEE Energy News
A total of 1,876,852.6 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market of the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX) in October 2021, which is 15 % less compared to the previous month. Average daily traded volume in October amounted to 60,543.6 MWh. Traded volume in October 2021 was 30.5 % higher compared to the same month last year.
The average baseload price on the day-ahead market in October amounted to 188.47 euros/ MWh, which is 50.8 % higher compared to September (125.01 euros/MWh), while average peak price was 209.15 euros/MWh (+ 56 %). There were a total of 87 registered participants on the IBEX day-ahead market, one more than in the previous month.
Regarding intraday market, a total of 86,506.3 MWh (- 19.3 %) was traded, with the average weighted price of 189.93 euros/MWh (+ 47.2 %).
